The brief
The Podge Lunch is an annual event celebrating the creativity and diversity of the design industry. Founded by Phil Jones and now in its 15th year, the event brings together leaders from the design world and acts as a platform to showcase the talent of individual design agencies.
Our brief was to work with this year’s chosen agency, The Brand Union.
The work
We were able to give The Brand Union over 100 different printing media to choose from, allowing them to showcase their creative ideas to best effect.
Working with this year’s theme, ‘Food for thought’, they asked us to produce voile tablecloths, subtly overprinted with plates. Each of the 150 place settings was beautifully typeset with a famous food-related quote.
We produced vibrant mesh banners to adorn the main dining area, along with specially designed napkins and bottle labels.
The results
An impressive showcase for The Brand Union and another hugely successful event on the Podge Lunch calendar.
