PROJECTSummer '09 window campaign – UK & international stores
The brief
We were asked to produce graphics and props for a concept based around the iconic Pantone book. The idea was to create individual colour towers to display charity Friendship Bracelets, all matched to actual pantone numbers, and large format graphic banners reflecting the instantly recognisable Pantone book.
The work
The towers were created from plastic drainpipe cut to size and covered in self adhesive gloss vinyl. Pantone reference numbers were printed directly to grey backed vinyl to avoid show-through and then over-mounted to the coloured tubes. After approval of our initial prototypes, we produced a total of 828 tubes collated into 6 sets combining 3 sizes and colourways.
All the main window graphics were printed directly to double sided banner materials with layered cut vinyl decals applied directly to the glass. These were produced in 3 colours and supplied ready layered for application by the in-house team.
A full set of props was sent to all stores, including fabric for covering base boards and additional POS. UK graphics were despatched direct to store, whilst international graphic artwork and detailed specifications were uploaded to FTP for local production.
Results
An amazing success. The response from customers and store teams alike has been staggering. The commercial brief has been exceeded four-fold, with significant like for like sales increases on last year – 6 of the 12 bracelet colours sold out!
