The brief
To produce and install large format graphics, vinyl model runways, propping and window treatments to realise the creative inspiration behind the client’s new season jewellery collections. Zoning was to allow each collection to be distinct, yet part of the overall campaign.
The work
A black and mirrored-gold finish was needed to echo the jewellery. We produced a 12 metre long floor graphic to be used as a catwalk for the runway models. We supplied black direct to media print to a mirror-gold vinyl, which was then sealed to the catwalk.
For the window treatment, we printed black dtm to clear maddico polyester, and applied it to the inside of the glass. To minimise cost, a number of existing plinths were re-covered in panels and vinyl. New plinths were created from cardboard tubes covered in black vinyl and actual 12” vinyl records, bearing the Links logo.
The overall impact was then amplified by floor vinyls and wall graphics, printed and cut to shape.
Results
The Press Day was a great success. The new collections received an incredibly positive reaction from the Press, who acclaimed the work as far more directional, edgy and creative.
