PROJECTLaunching a new range of watches
The brief
To launch Links of London’s new range of watches, our retail specialist division was asked to create a dramatic, fashion forward environment within an art gallery in London’s Bruton Street.
The work
A stunning backdrop of large format images, shot by photographer Lachlan Bailey, drew the viewer into the range. The watches were displayed on sleek leather bound and acrylic plinths.
The scale of the images called for ingenuity in the execution and an intricate eye for detail. As well as producing all the plinths, we printed 27 large images using the Lambda process to achieve the highest quality. These were wrap-mounted to 5mm thick, foam-centred board with an overlap join to create the continuous image. Each print section was 3,500mm high × various widths and was fixed on-site to timber frames, avoiding any permanent fixings to the walls of the gallery.
We carried out a full site survey, generating all graphic measurements and then installed all graphics and plinths in 12 hours flat.
The results
A fantastic reaction from visitors to the gallery and positive editorial coverage in all the major fashion publications.
