PROJECTMatrix LED light boxes for new store openings

The brief
As the UK dealer for Matrix Frame, we were asked to produce and install the revolutionary Matrix LED Light Box system at JD Sports ‘Class A’ store openings, including their new flagship store in Liverpool.

The work
This innovative light box system uses an LED light system that is maintenance free and, with very low power consumption and no heat emission, it offers a big environmental advantage over standard fluorescent light boxes. The Matrix fabric graphic makes it very simple and quick to change the image, avoiding expensive installation. It also has a stylish, slimline appearance with no border.

Working closely with Dalziel & Pow, we created bespoke specifications for the light boxes and worked on layouts and artwork. We then produced 14 light boxes with varying graphics for four stores, including an 11m high installation at the flagship store in Liverpool. The other light boxes were approximately 3.5m high × 2m wide.

Our specialist installers installed the light boxes and graphics working directly with the JD Sports project team.
