‘Navigation’ campaign, Summer 2008, London
The brief
Our brief was to produce, install and implement the new and unique ‘Navigation’ campaign for Nokia’s Regent Street store.
The work
This interactive campaign celebrated the launch of the new Navigation handsets, and offered consumers a 360-degree retail experience. They could see it, participate in it and be responsible for its outcome.
The campaign required fish tanks, audio‑visual equipment, real artists and a giant artist wall. We created plinths to hold the fish tanks and mechanical arms to hold the handsets. Cut vinyl decals were added to the windows, and a double‑sided globe of clear acrylic manufactured for the interior of the store. Interactive audio-visual equipment included LCD laptops, programmed and maintained by McKenzie Clark.
The results
Too early to say, but the feedback has been excellent. Big crowds have gathered to watch the fish tanks and have their favourite London places drawn on the live artist window. The scheme is now being rolled out to other stores.
