The brief
Our brief was to translate an innovative illustration into window and internal graphics for the offices of this award-winning, internationally-acclaimed design consultancy.
The work
The design for the main windows was to have a dual purpose: as a security measure and also to showcase the work of top UK illustrator, Supermundane.
We used our contravision media for the meeting room graphic treatment, allowing us to print the illustration on one side of the glass, whilst remaining invisible from the other side. Using this media, we were able to create a space that provided both privacy and transparency depending on use.
From client sign-off of tests, we had 2 days to produce intricately cut and weeded vinyl for the main office windows – which were over 10 metres in length – along with the printed contravision media for the meeting room. Our specialist vinyl installation team took only a day to complete the job, which included the application of a credit line in fluorescent vinyl to the outside of the glass.
The results
A great success. According to our client, the perfectly executed installation has created windows which ‘look fabulous and are sure to get a few smiles when people walk by.’
